Ami is the daughter of a noted Doctor in Shibuya. Her father left when she was very young. Since then she has devoted everything to her academic advancement to become a Doctor, like her mother. During her last year of Junior High, she met Usagi Tsukino, who would soon reveal she was Sailor Moon. After nearly loosing her brain power to a Monster, she awakened as the Soldier of Justice and Wisdom. Over the next few years she fought along side her friends Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Mini-moon, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.

This year she is looking towards entering High school and hopefully putting the monster fights behind her. However that wasn't to come to pass. While heading to her cram school, one of the students from there was being assaulted by a strange creature, A Heart shaped construct was drawn from their chest and they were made into a strange shadow creature with a white form appearing next to them. After transforming, she found she was unable to do anything to it. But the two creatures were replused by her Mercury Change Crystal as it had altered a bit. The Familiar harp was surrounded by a heart.
