Nuffink Haddock is every bit the chaotic wild child that his parents are known to be, he seems to be utterly fearless in the face of danger, no matter how perilous or life threatening that may be. He's as stubborn and bull-headed as any member of the Hairy Hooligan tribe, and refuses to back down no matter how much you push. His bold and outspoken nature makes him a somewhat abrasive individual at times, prone to fighting back against things just to fight. He's absolutely an attack first ask why later kind of person, much akin to his mother and grandfather's fiery nature.

He lives for adventure of any kind, and is plagued by the same gnawing wanderlust that his father always suffered from. He's an explorer at heart, always looking for the next thrill or adventure, it's really no wonder he ventured away from home as he did, how else was he meant to satisfy that need for peril home safe?

Nuffink is known to be a very hardy kid, often using his head quite literally over any other weapon. He gets called a goat quite a lot for his propensity for ramming his head into whatever hard surface or person he can find, something that followed him into his older teenage years. He's got a fearsome headbutt, especially when he's wearing a helmet of some kind.

He's a friendly, boisterous, affable boy who never meets strangers, and he speaks in a large and loud voice for such a smallish teen, another thing his parents say he got from Stoic.

Nuffink was the second born to Astrid Hofferson and Hiccup Haddock, he spent a great length of his childhood on New Berk being raised largely by the entire village. He loved his sister, his parents, his home, but he always had this little nagging feeling in his heart that only worsened the older he got. Wanderlust, his father called it, the same wanderlust that often drove Hiccup from his home. His parents tried to quiet it, tried to distract him with other things, but the feeling always brought him to the edges of the island almost lovingly calling him out. Nuffink loved his family, but eventually the inviting voice grew far too warm and welcoming, so one night he left over the horizon.

Somewhere along his journey with seemingly no destination, Nuffink reunited with another soul who felt the same pulling, the young offspring of Toothless who Nuffink lovingly refers to as Pouncer. The meeting almost felt fated, that the sons of Hiccup and Toothless should share the same bond, but Pouncer has been a tried and true friend in the face of the calamities that have recently faced the young viking.
