She was still nervous to meet a new person, and was still sweating from the recent intimidation of meeting a new person. She watched him gently poker her, not at all, finding this situation unconfortable, that a 8 feet tall massive person was on one knee infront of her, and poking her. After her death, such unusual situations became totally meaningless in her eyes. A loud laught suddenly hit her cat ears, causing them to jerk slightly, but the zombie did not take her eyes off the other person.
As she understood the true mening of what he was saying, it drove her to tears. Tears that she has been holding back for a very long time now. " All my life, i worried about the day that i would die, i wanted to grow old, and die with my grand-kids playing in the yard... but i was killed. " She pause fr a few seconds, trying to put all her emotion into words. " Every day it hurts... knowing that everybody that i have ever known, care for or loved with die... while i will be here to watch them go away permanently! " Her tears trinkled from her eyes, and she wiped her eyes a few times and took a few deep breaths to try to calm down. " My reanimation did have one positive thing about it... it saved my parents and friends from unbearable pain... the pain that i felt after waking up, knowing that i will exist untill the very end of time... it still terrifies me, even after so long. " Bambulina said, by now she has stopped criyng but still had tears in her eyes, so she wiped her eyes again.
She looked around. suddenly realising that she had to feed on some raw meat soon, of she would loose her mind and fall into her zombie frienzy... something that she is terrified of. " Come, let us eat and drink something... can you teleport to Vegas or Paris? you are my guest if you want. " Bambulina smiled shyly up at him.
When the person spoke again, his voice was harsh... making Bambulina fairly intimidated, and already start to sweat. The zombie, who has stood her ground against a few weapons like guns and swords, and remain totally unafraid, was actually intimidated by this person, who she felt somehow to be not totally humans either. The zombie knew that soon her stinge would be felt by the person. As he came stepping towards her, she grew much more nervous from personally meeting such a huge person. The end of her tail started twiching slighty.
When the new person got down onto one knew, Bambulina grew wide eyed and opened mouthed from surprise and confusion... the very last thing that she was expecting was a wedding proposition. When the person some next, his voice was much more playful and friendly, making Bambulina break into a shy grin, and her face, just ever so slightly took on a shade of pink from blushing.
After she eased up, the zombie looked away with her naturally red eyes for a few seconds, to think. After a few seconds she realised that the strange pair was getting a few weird looks from the people who was walking by, but did not care. Bambulina then turned back to the person and spoke. "I am meant to be a good person, a helper and a protector of others... i could not protect myself as a human... but now, i am more then capable of protecting others from harm. " She said not smiling, but in a friendly manner. The memories of her own death where seared into her brain forever, and no matter how hard she tried, she just could not forget what happened to her.
She smiled at Ami and momentarilly looked away just as Ami has a shocked face on seeing her tail, so she missed the stare. Bambulina smirked glancing back at her meal for a moment. "Well, dinner as well, but i am scouting the hotel and the next door venue to see if it is worth buying, but i am pretty much convinced that buying it will be a wise move. " She explained to Ami.
" You may or may not have head about my earlier sporting life. " She said, for the moment, forgetting that this was sort of another dimension from what she had originally came from. The undead zombie was unsure if ami has head of her at all or not. Bambulina motioned for the other female to sit if she wished. " Come on, i will invite you to dinner, i mostly eat outside of the Academy since i moved there, in part due to having a pretty strict diet lately, and i spend my nights either walking around this area of the city, or listening to music all night, or being at one of the bars or restaurants of hotels like this one, or training in the gym or out in the garden of the Academy " She said to Ami.
Bambulina was still careful not to give away that she is infact a reanimated corpse, as she was actually afraid that it might probably terrify Ami, something that she did not want to do. It was always hurtful for her that when a person learns of her true nature, they get terrified of her, and broke contact with her, simply due to being a zombie. It was so not her fault, she never wanted to be a zombie in the first place.
She was confused for a moment when the person vanished into a flash of light. But a second later, she head a strange sound behind her, making her cat ears turn towards the noise, and a moment later, the zombie turned around too. Portal creation? that was a pretty handy thing to have.
The zombie looked up at the towering person, who turned out to be a male, and grew wide eyed from being impressed. The person was even taller then the unusually tall Xena, something that actually caused Bambulina to be a bit uneasy. The cat-like zombie stares up for a few seconds, before tilting her head slighty and introducing herself. " Hello there, i am Bambulina Tozzi-Grant... better known as Diana Grant. " She smiled shyly, not being afraid of his otherwise intimidating size, and then something happened, some unknown urge forced her to also state her status. " I am unfortunately not a living person anymore. " She blerted out, unable to keep this information to herself at the very moment.
She was really confused as the why she felt compelled to aslso say that info and grew pretty embarresed about it. "Who are you? are you also a sports person? A basketball player or a wrestler maybe? " She asked him. Wrestlers could be huge, like this guy was, so Bambulina though that he was probably a wrestler.
While a shadowy figure was looking down on the lit streets, down on the ground, an undead sporting legend was walking with a bottle of beer, in one of her hands. She was just after a concert of an up and coming local female singer. Bambulina had visited the indoor arena that she was thinking of buying, but still had to do a few visits, but was pretty much convinced that it was worth buying.
The zombie girl was visibly greatly underdressed for the otherwise chilly weather, only wearing a pair of running shoes, a pair of jeans and a simple black tanktop, and despite the weather, she was not chilly at all. Due to being dead, Bambulina felt temperature on a dimmished level compared to humans. The zombie was going to spend the of the night outside, before heading back to her hotel in a few hours.
She was in no rush at all, as she literally had ALL the time in the world. Something that both made her sad and intimidated, but also hopeful to see what the world will turn out to be. She let her fate take her, pretty much aimlessly in a direction, not really caring, she would not get lost and walked while sipping on her beer. During one of her sips however, she froze mid sip, but was careful not not get the beer to leave the bottle. Up on one of the taller buildings, she caw a moving shadow... of a person who was covered up. She could headly see that if was a person, let alone of it was a male of female. The zombie girl found if unusual, but who was she to say anything, she was friends with an centaur-like Asgardian called Astrid, and another alien who was somewhat insect-like. The person was probably just watching over the area, for whatever reason.
Bambulina loved the great taste of steak, and was as good in taste, as raw meat was for a zombie-like herself. Bambulina wondered if there where any other zombies out there at all, for all she knew, she was probably the only one of her kind.
The Zombie hated being cat-like with a tail, and to have a dick, but it was so not her fault, she did not choose how she looked or the fact that she was a zombie. And yet despide her incredible skills, and winning a fair number of Gold and even silver medals, much of the sports world and even some of her competitor friends, berated her, or publicly humiliated her. Not once this has happened on live TV where, she was asked a question, about her catness or her gender, that she should not have a penis, and all. It has happened on live TV not once, when she was watched by hundreds of millions of people and she was acked about her dick, rather then about the freaking race. These questions made Bambulina so angry and dissapointed in general.
Luckily most of the TV reporters she has dealt with where focused on her sports, and only asked a few not too personal questions, but there where always the rotten apples out there. The Olympic Games where nearly here, and Bambulina would once again, be competing, so she had to stay in the very peak shame, both mentally, by thinking positively, and body upholding the strict diet that competitors followed in the last months and weeks before the Games. And during competition is was th same, to eat what the specific competitor needed to have enught energy and nutrition.
Her thoughts where interrupted by a blue something that floated across her blank vision, making her snap out of her thoughts. After another long second, Bambulina recognized that the blue was actually Ami, the other student from the combat training. She grew happy to met another of her friends, and vaves, calling over to the other girl. "Ami, hello there, come on over. " Bambulina got up, and stepped out to meet Ami, and due to her happyness, her tail was also swaying happily. She sometimes had a hard time controlling her tail, as her tail something gave away her emotions and feelings.
Bambulina, the cat-like zombie, was in the restaurant of a really nice 5-star hotel, just enjoying a great stake and a great beer in the evening. The beer was actually of her own company, making Bambulina feel that much better. She liked to enjoy her unlife, and have a good time. She however could not eat whatever lately, as the Olympics where coming up, where she would compete again.
The zombie was a bit overwealmed lately by a growth of profits, and decided to spending on something useful, so again, she planned to buy a larger music venue and hotel, this time, in Tokyo. She has her sights on a 12,500 capacity indoor arena and a small 5-star hotel next to it, and have started to sound the location, by visiting a few concerts of the arena, and also ate and drank at once of the restaurants or bars of the hotel, she learned that the arena was opened in the late 1980's and the hotels was opened in 2000... so, both could be considered aging in that sense... but the hotel great, probably due to a remodelling or something. It was also a special venue as it will host sports for the upcoming Olympic Games.
Bambulina was really interested to also learn that the hotel has a small casino as well, and as smaller live music club as part of the large venue. This meant the owner of the place could book small up and coming bands or very popular acts as well. Bambulina would need to buy it sooner or later, as to not miss this chance. She was also lucky as the location was only a nice walk away from the Academy, something that would be useful in the long run, if she would be trained at the Academy for years. It then hit her, the terrible loneliness that her death meant, existing until eternity, it still scared her grately. She closed her eyed for a few seconds, before shaking the lonliness away. She still had her parents and friends, nothing else really mattered.
As she waited the few seconds for the younger girl to answer her, she started doing a bit of dual leg stretching, just so she would not pull any muscle... the funny thing was her body healed pretty much anything... but it she pulled a muscle in her back, or legs, that always hurt and had to slowly get the muscle to be back to normal.
She then turned to head the new voice, recognising it as the person who she met almost 2 months ago. She only turned her head towards him, and paused for a second, before continuing her stretching. "Billy... yes... i joined the school 3 days ago, why is that such a problem or surprise?... and i was wondering where you where... we have been trying to contact you for 3 weeks now... you will need to start today if you are still interested in selling and handling merch. " Bambulina said during a physically pretty demanding stretch... luckily her muscles where adjusted to her elevated agility, so would not injure so easy as if another person would try it. Bambulina however pushed, her body just slightly more, to the point of disconfort in her legs and held it for 10-12 seconds. She then looked and saw that her tail was facing the other two people, casuing her to become pretty embarresed and finish the current stretch early, she then started circling with her arms instead and listened to both of them. " I have a 9 week residency at the nearby music venue... there will be somebody from my management to do the paperwork to get you started... try to be there by 6:30. " Bambulina said to him. And his nickname, Tailgate... she actually liked that name.
She then stopped circling her arms and when the pretty attractive female introduced hersefl, the zombie smiled at her. " Hello, my name is Bambulina... nice to meet you are well, Ami... waiting for something like this to start always makes me nervous. " Bambulina spoke in her usual slight accent as she waved in a friendly manner. Bambulina was not good on social skills, but had a keen eye for detail and star the flicker in her eyes when Billy called her Friendless... something that even she would call somebody, even if Bambulina had even less social skills. "And now that we have met... Ami will never be without a friend... not at long as i exist. " She smiled shyly at Ami, wanting her to not feel bad on being called a pretty cruel name. After a few more seconds, she started a different kind of stretch with first one of her legs. Due to being pretty nervous, she was already sweating a little, and her natural stink started to be felt... hopefully the other two did not smell it yet. Ever since she dies, when she is hot or sweating, the natural scent of decay and rot her body smelled like... the sweating only made the smell much stronger and she just could not control it.
Bambulina has recently started another tour... this time around Asia and Australia, and after finishing the first leg of the tour, 30 dates, she started a 9 week residency in Tokyo, playing every 4-5 days at a mid sized venue. It was becore the first concert that Bambulina was approached by a member of a special, combat Academy. The Academy was a training school for people with unique abilities. She accepted the offer to join, thinking about how, her pretty much invincible body could be used it she underwent combat training.
So now, on her first class at the Academy she was walking towards the pretty nice green and grassy park. She was in a fairly old running clothing, with much of her legs exposed, as well as her arms exposed. This caused the zombie gals to stand out, with her extremely pale and slightly grayish skin tone. She let her hair loose, not casing about if it got in her eyes... as it really would not bother her that much... she did not have to focus every tiny bit of her energy here.
As she was almost in the middle of the field, she looked to see if her blaster was firmly attached to her left lower arm and that the built in button that was a small press-based button on her hand, was functioning... she did not fire a shot with it, however... the blaster was a fairly powerful energy based blaster, but she never tried it on a person yet... only things like rocks, brick walls, the ground or dead trees.
She gently stayed he cat tail as she finally arrived and waved around to the others. She then looked around with her naturally red colored eyes, and waited for something to happen. After a few seconds she turned to the younger looking gal that was also there and asked. " Um... this is the place for the combat class, right? " She asked nervously, with her tail swaying slightly, while she spoke in a slight Italian accent. She could not help it, showing in her every day speech, but luckily her accent did not show in her singing as she has practiced it so much.
Bambulina took a few more sips of her beer and then reached out to take a few more nuts from the small bowl. She then popped them in her mouth as she listened to him. As he said that he would help sell merch and do other things as needed. He had a pretty good idea... her band did not have a full time person who handles merch, and Bambulina actually liked the idea of having a full time person on that.
" Yes... that is a pretty good idea... we do need a full time merch person... and while i sort of recently finished my first headliner tour, we weil have another tour starting in a few weeks... The first leg will be in Europe, and the second leg will be in Australia and Japan. " She said, and grew happy that her band is finally getting known... she however also considered it an incredible opportunity on being an opening act for a some of the biggest names there is. the ultra pale zombie smiled and nodded as he asked if she traveled a lot. "Well, yes, i am been around. " She smiled and took a few more nuts from the bowl and popped them in her mouth. After a few seconds of chewing, she paused and was confused. "The Heartless? What is that? An up and coming rock or pop band? " She asked, as she guessed that, that was the name of some band.
When he commented on that she was a very talented person, Bambulina half smiled. " I am only very talented in sports, but not so very talented in business or music compared to somebody who has been on stage for over 50 years. " Bambulina smiled at him. This guy was a fun person, it seemed. " Managers run my hotels, breweries and brewpubs, venues and casinos... who in turn report to the general manager of the different assets... and the general managers report to me if there is anything that they can not really solve of if there is a serious problem of any sort. So while i am not the best at business... my team makes it up. " Bambulina smirked happily but then grew serious and a bit less happy. " But not everybody likes or accepts a cat-like girl like me... even if i would be the most known person in the world... some people would still hate me for my cat being. " She smirked in a dissapointed manner.
When the person began teasing her that her singing was good, but not so super good... Bambulina broke into a while smile and shook her head gently. "Well i am not very skilled in singing or touring... i was much more into sports, but i love singing as well. " She smiled and raised her beer, taking a few sips of it before adding. " Heck... i only did one longer headlining tour, so i am far from being super experienced. " Bambulina said with a slight shrug and then tilted her head gently.
" I am not from around here either... as you can tell. " She smirked and then got a bit serious. " Weird? i am not wierd... i am different... unless it is a good kind of weird... then yes, i guess i am a bit weird. " She motioned with her head in general and then listened to him. "I do not actually think they have marathon events here... i was talking about running a Marathon in places like Paris, London, Rome, New York and other places. " She explained, leaving out the fact that she also ran marathon events at summer Olympic Games.
She listened to him, while she sipped a bit of beer again before answering. " I am a business owner in the fields of hospitality, real estate, gaming and alcohol... hotels, casinos, breweries... nothing too fancy really. ... but i plan to use this stage for other events... small enught to handle larger bands but also large enught to be considered a pretty serious stage. " She said not really considering her otherwise outstanding assets to be too outstanding. She was just so used to having the assets that her mantality towards such assets changed somewhat, compares to other people.
The person who sat down, sent away for a beer, and in the meantime, was when a random person stepped on her tail. By the time coin person rerurned, Bambulina was still rubbing her tail.
She sat back down after a few seconds and wiped her tears away. She then took the large glass mug and took a few large sips of it. She then put the beer down, with the last feeling of pain still in her tail. Bambulina then spoke to the new person. " Where where here just a few minits before you got here? The gig that just ended... that was us... i am Bambulina... Bambulina Tozzi-Grant. " She smiled with a small wave and glanced back at the stage for a moment. There crew have just finished clearing the stage. Her attention went back to the new person. "Are you from this world of, another world? " She asked him.
Bambulina then smirked, and broke into a wide smile. "Of course it it very good... i own the company that brews it. " She grinned, pointing to a larger poster of the brewery and then pointed to the color printed logo on the large mug in his hand. " i organized this whole little festival... took me weeks to set everything up, and also needed some external help but i pulled it off... this is the first very large event that i organize... but it is not easy... heck... running a marathon is easier. " She laughed slightly, shaking her head.
Bambulina studied the ancient looking coin for a few moments, finding it really intriguing as she could not really place the date and location of the coin... it did not seem ancient Greek or Roman, and she was unsure as to how coins looked in the middle ages. She was also pretty facinated as to hi he managed to whip it out of thin air, but she guessed that it was magic.
When a stranger greeted then, the other members kindly greeted the person back, knowing that everybody who was in the VIP area was a friend or family member of the band members.
After she watched the other members sit down at a nearby table, Bambulina had her attention directed back to the new person. "What kind of coin was that?... something used in the middle ages? " She asked and as the person asked about the beer, she smiled widely. " This is outstanding quality beer... from the brewery called Brewmaster... this is Brews Banner... it is not so expensive... 3 silvers and 50 bronze. " Bambulina said and nearly burst out laghing from the extreme irony of silvers and bronzes, do to picturing herself with 50 bronze medals. She then watched at the stage was being clearned of there gears and soon to be prepped for the arrival of the next performance. As she was gently swaying her tail while she was sitting, and with people walking up and down, her tail was sort of in the way. A few seconds later, somebody accidentally stepped on her tail, making Bambulina yell out in pain and tried moving away, but was momentarilly being pinned down by her own tail. A moment later she got up angrily with tears in her eyes from the pain. "Hey!... come on dude... watch where you are going! " Bambulina spoke, trying to not to be too rude to the person. She set her beer down and moved her tail towards one of her hands, and gently rubbing it, to ease the pain. She sat back down, and was that a few others where looking to see if she was okay. " I hate when what happens. " She muttered softly. She person who stepped on it, merely glaned at Bambulina and then at her tail, before shrugging and walking on.
Bambulina was just getting her large beer, ans since the table was in the small WIP area, there was small bowls of assorted nuts that she got with the beer. Before she had any time to drink or start munching on the nuts... a young person came over to her, asking if he could sit. " She looked up at him, and after finding him decent looking, she nodded and motioned. " Yes... go ahead. " The zombie said, and as she had to sort of wind down her voice, she softly started humming for a few seconds, before finally pulling over the small bowl of nuts and munched down 2-3 bites before she raised her glass mug and took a few large sips of it. " Are you here for the festival? " She asked him, not casing too much... it was a free festival after all.
She was appoached by 3 other people... the other core members of the band. By this time, she has actually become the official leader of the band, as she was probably the most professional out of the band when it came to music. Heck... already after a few of her very first shows, back in September 2016, she was already respected enught to have her say in most music related things, count... after a few other shows, Bambulina was actually treated as equal to the already locally established band members. Thes sat next to other friends or family members. She saw not at all sad about this, her own parents, where not in this dimension.
Another few shows, and she would actually become the official leader of the band and while she was not a pretty popular singer, and did not have the vesy best of voices, she did had a good, and strong voice. She took another sip of the beer, before putting the mug down and took another few nuts out of the bowl and munched them down. Despite not training at all, since her Marathon was ruined, she kept the healthy and fairly strict diet of her sporting life... Bambulina has gotten so used to it, that she did not really care to eat in an irregular way. Her diet was still only made of up breads, grains, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, meats, salads, fish, pizza, pasta with different toppings, and cheese, with beer, fruit juices, water, iso drink and milk as her drinks.
Diana has known about the new kingdom for only a few weeks now, and grew to love the old style of one of the larger town, she though to create an event, and what better even was then then a beer and festival with some music. So, now, after a few weeks of planning and organizing, Bambulina organised her first festival in the larger. In the larger square of the larger town. It was just a 3 day event with the day being the second day and the place was pretty crowded. Bambulina has somewhat recently finished her first solo tour, with dates in both the US and around Europe, but she has never even dreamed of performing in an actual fantasy syled kingdom like Europa.
She was dressed in a nice yellow colored pants and long sleeved shirt that was dark blue, and her show in the town was on a fairly small stage, but still has enught room for the members and the gear and equipment, but nothing like on the huge stages that she has performed on both as an opening act and during her own tour. Bambulina was now, just finishing her show, being in the encore part of her show, just about to return to the stage after a minit or so after leaving the stage. The stage are was actually modern, with a portable power generator actually supplying electricity for the sound and lighting.
" Thank you all for being here, hoped you enjoyed it as much as we did. " Bambulina said and waited untill the other members where back and ready. After that, the 2 last songs where played and the members lines up to bow and leave the stage, grinning and waving as they left the stage. Babulina walked into the small backstage area and after only a minit of being there, she came outof the backstage area and went over to the less crowded area, that was near the stage, with people grinning and smiling. She was very down to earth, and was pretty open to meeting just about anybody. Bambulina ordered a liter sized beer from one of the waitresses, and smirked widely. One of her own breweries was the main beer supplier for this festival, but there where other non alcoholic drinks as well, like pumpkin milk, witch she was sure to try before the festival would end.
