Akira Kijima was born to the parents of Satomi Kijima and Yakumo Miroku, who was born April 4th, 1981. He had never known his father, Yakumo since Satomi had raised him as a single mother although Akira had gained his power of Bloodmetry. Satomi had never told him the truth of his father since she had was still scared of the bloodstains that she had encountered in the mansion. There were days that Akira would go to school without eating his power of Bloodmetry was there in his right hand. He would only have visions that caused him to wheezed when he had touched bloodstains.
While in elementary he had met Seiji Amanome and he had found out that Seiji had hated ghosts ever since then. He had been hanging out with Seiji ever since their childhood years. Then one day, Akira was running away from the cops because of an incident that Hazuki had gotten him into. He had invited Ami over since she had wanted to come. Natsumi had gotten her to go back. Then, the day that Ami was getting her photo taken there was one eerily looking picture with so many eyes. He had gone with Hazuki and her to get flowers for Yuri Takamura. When Ami and Akira went over to put flowers where Yuri had died, her ghost had come back. She was saying she will kill Ami. Akira had digged a hole for Ami to hide and he jumped up in the vent. He had gotten a good look at the truck and there was no driver.
When Ami and Akira went back to Akira's apartment there she had disappeared because of Kakuya. He had followed the sound of the flute and found Kakuya playing. Akira had to play her games, or he would die course the first game was the Urashima Woman. Then he had told Seiji and Hazuki. While Seiji and he were looking for clues one night, Akira had touched the blood and he had a vision. He was wheezing from all that visions and he were brought down to his knees. There was a guard coming and Akira threw the stone and broke a lampost in the opposite direction. The mouths appeared on his face the night after taunting him.
Akira was washed up onto Radiant Garden, and there he was still haunted by the memories of the games, but now he can't do anything about Kakuya since he was faraway from his world. He couldn't save Ami Kijima from the mirror and that was eating away at him.
