Sora's life is a long and very entwined one. He was first exposed to the beginning of the keyblade war as an infant when Ventus and Sora's newborn heart connected. Ventus was allowed to rest within Sora until he got better. He grew up on the Destiny Islands with Rikku, soon meeting Kairi after a meteor shower. It was a plan the two friends had to build a raft to take Kairi home that sent them on their path to now. Through countless battles and connecting to so many hearts, Sora becomes one of the Guardians of Light.
Very Long story short, Sora, Rikku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Axel, Aqua, and Ventus, managed to eliminate Xehanort. But not without cost. Right there and then, Sora decides he wasn't coming home without Kairi. He left, without even Donald and Goofy. What happened to bring Kairi back has been lost to the shadows. But a star if falling again in the Destiny Islands.
